We Believe in Camp Alvernia Virtual 5K!
Join us in a race for Camp! We are excited to virtually come together and race for what matters: our Alvernia community. Open to everyone!
You’ll get our exclusive event t-shirt free with paid registration, and all proceeds will go directly towards our tuition assistance fund supporting our Alvernia’s Angels for 2021.

Where
Anywhere you want to walk/run! Get creative and Zoom with family and friends or meet up in a nearby park and run together!
Why
To have fun with your family, neighbors, and friends while raising funds to help your fellow campers in need be able to attend camp in 2021! Plus, you could win an awesome prize!
How to join
Start your registration by filling out the registration form here. Within 48 hours you will receive an email with an invoice to complete your registration. The week before the event, your t-shirt and bib will be dropped off at your home or delivered by mail for you to wear during your race. Take photos, post to social media (#CampAlvernia for instagram/FB/TikTok) and send to ariel@campalvernia.org
Cost
Registration is $35 (you will receive our exclusive event t-shirt and bib to wear at the race)
Family rate: $35 for the first person and $10 per person for immediate family members to add on (each member registered/paid will be receive our exclusive event t-shirt and bib to wear at the race)
Before
Register and then ask family and friends to sponsor and root you on! All donations will be collected after the race and will go directly towards helping your fellow campers in need attend camp!
Using a phone app, fitness watch, or step-tracking device can help you keep track of your distance (optional).
Be the family that raises the most and you can win the grand prize of $100 canteen credit to use in the summer! If you are not a current camper family, your family will receive the $100 as a voucher to use for camp swag in the canteen through our online camp store!
After
- When you have completed the 5K post your picture on your social media with the #CampAlvernia
- Screenshot and send your finished 5K to ariel@campalvernia.org (optional)
- Send in the money your sponsors donated to the camp office: PO Box 301 Centerport, NY 11721 or click here and designate funds for “We Believe in Camp Alvernia 5k.”
