Welcome to Family Camp 2020!

We are so excited to have you and your family come and experience a day on our gorgeous 15 acre wooded waterfront property. Please read on to find out more about this relaxing outdoor camp experience for your family.

A day at our Family Camp means your family will be one of just seven family cohorts on the grounds at a time. You’ll have your own home base cabin for the day, with a private bathroom and air conditioning, as well as access to the great outdoors with no chance of a crowd.

The sprawling Alvernia campus makes it easy for your family cohort to remain physically distant from other families while enjoying pool, boating, and more. Bring your kids to one of their favorite places and don’t forget to have fun yourself!

DAY RATE (9am-4pm)

Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday:

$300 per cabin for up to 4 people and $50 per additional person. Under 2 years old is free. 10 people maximum per cabin.

Saturday or Sunday:

$425 per cabin for up to 4 people and $50 per additional person. Under 2 years old is free. 10 people maximum per cabin.

What can I expect?

After you arrive, check in at the office, and receive a bracelet for the day, you will be given a map of the grounds, your cabin name and schedule of activities for your specific cabin if you would like to participate in them.

Each cabin is only for your family cohort. You will have access to air conditioning, a bathroom, electricity, a space to change, a place to keep your things and your own picnic table located right outside. There will not be a refrigerator available so please bring a cooler for any perishables. There is also no wifi on the grounds.

Each cabin will have one time slot for boating and two for pools. Please stay within your designated time slots for your cabin to ensure that we are following all proper physical distancing guidelines.

STAY TOGETHER

Every family/cohort needs to remain together the entire time. For example, if your family/cohort is at the pool at 9am, then the whole family/cohort will need to be at the pool together. Half of your family cannot go to the pool and the other half to basketball. This is Family Camp, a time for families to participate in camp activities together. There will be ample time for you and your family to do a multitude of activities throughout the day.

Boating

We recommend you bring your own Coast Guard approved PFD (personal flotation device) which is required for all to go out on the boats. You will not be permitted to boat without a PFD. We have limited PFD’s available which will be cleaned and disinfected between uses but to limit sharing, if you have your own, please bring it.

You will have access to canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards. Small children may use our 6ft mini-kayaks and power paddlers. There will be boating staff present but they will not be available to take you and your family out on the boats. Sailboats will NOT be available.

  • Towel
  • Bathing suit
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Floaties for the pool
