Staff With Special Needs

We first began hiring staff with special needs here at Alvernia about five years ago. Our staff with special needs work in the kitchen and camp store, learning job skills that will be valuable for the future. We also hire job coaches to help them along as they learn.

This program is groundbreaking, and we ask your help to ensure it continues for years to come.
