Forms Removed to Reveal Artwork! Wow!!

In the last week or so, the workers poured the concrete for the big wall, with forms inside containing artwork cut out into plywood. The art was done by Vesper Stamper Illustration, and represents various aspects of Camp Alvernia throughout its history! Visit www.vespersongs.com to see more of Vesper’s work.
Here you see the full view of the wall with the main forms removed. The workers have left in most of the smaller pieces of wood so the concrete has as much time as possible to set.

Here are some close-ups of the artwork panels.

Franciscan Brother!

Campers kayaking!

Close-up so you can see the wood still embedded in the concrete!

I LOVE the artwork! This is such an amazing project - it has been a wonderful experience watching it come together!
